Washington (March 29, 2017) – Mary Jo Jacobi and Patrick Jephson, reputation and crisis management experts with more than a combined 65 years of industry experience, joined APCO’s International Advisory Council (IAC) announced Margery Kraus, founder and executive chairman of APCO Worldwide.

Mary Jo Jacobi is an international reputation, brand and crisis consultant based in Washington D.C., having been the chief communications officer for several of the world’s leading multinational companies She is the only person to have been appointed to office by two U.S. Presidents, a British Prime Minister and Queen Elizabeth II.
During her corporate career, Jacobi created and implemented award-winning global brand strategies for Lehman Brothers and HSBC Holdings, including the much-copied use of airport airbridges for advertising and thought leadership. She earned her reputation as a crisis communications expert with Drexel Burnham (securities fraud), Royal Dutch Shell (reserves miscategorization) and BP America (Deepwater Horizon tragedy).

Patrick Jephson is the former chief of staff to Princess Diana and a founding partner of JephsonBeaman, a Washington D.C. reputation management consultancy, whose client list includes prominent individuals, government agencies and multinational corporations.

As chief of staff to Princess Diana he was responsible for every aspect of her public duties and personal organization.
